Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team as we expand our efforts to recruit cosmetology students. As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and executing lead generation marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for managing various digital channels, optimizing web properties, and ensuring the successful generation and nurturing of student leads.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation Campaigns: Develop, plan, and execute effective lead generation marketing campaigns utilizing email, SMS, website, and landing pages to attract prospective cosmetology students.
- Web Property Ownership: Take ownership of student prospecting web properties, ensuring a seamless journey from visit to inquiry. Collaborate on optimizing and prioritizing new web features and updates to enhance student acquisition.
- EMP/CRM Management: Utilize the Content Management System (CMS) and the Employee/Customer Relationship Management (EMP/CRM) tools to support lead generation efforts and maintain accurate prospect information.
- Lead Processing and Nurturing: Oversee lead processing hygiene, ensuring timely and accurate handling of leads. Develop, test, and optimize lead nurturing workflows to maximize conversion rates.
- Data Analysis: Analyze marketing campaign performance, website engagement, and lead conversion metrics. Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Content Development: Collaborate with Content Marketing Specialist to develop engaging and informative content for email marketing, website, and landing pages that resonate with the target audience.
- A/B Testing: Conduct A/B tests to optimize various elements of digital campaigns, including email subject lines, landing page designs, and SMS messaging.
- Reporting: Create regular reports to track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and communicate results to the team and stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure all marketing activities comply with relevant regulations, such as GDPR or CAN-SPAM Act, and maintain data privacy standards.
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree: In Marketing, Business, or a related field.
CMS and EMP/CRM Experience: Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and employee/customer relationship management tools (EMP/CRM) to manage and nurture leads. Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools and analytics platforms. (Hubspot, Google Analytics, WordPress, Salesforce) Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and use insights to drive marketing decisions and campaign optimization. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content. Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail to ensure lead data accuracy and campaign effectiveness. Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with digital marketing tools and platforms, including marketing automation software. Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team and across departments. Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to changing digital marketing trends and technologies. 1-2 Years of Experience: Previous experience in digital marketing, lead generation, or related roles is a plus. Digital Marketing Skills: Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including email marketing, SMS marketing, website optimization, and lead generation tactics.
