What made you interested in Ogle School?

I heard about Ogle mostly through TV commercials and just seeing stuff on Facebook and things like that. And then I just heard about the school just from knowing a little bit about the beauty industry and look, like, what schools were awesome to attend. So that’s how I heard about them.

Why did you choose Ogle School?

I chose Ogle because I knew that they had been in the industry for a while, and the school has been around for 40+ years. To me, that said something; that spoke volumes. So, I decided to come to Ogle just because of their reputation.

Did you look at any other schools outside of Ogle School?

I found myself talking to other students that had gone to school before me at various other schools; they had said they really didn’t learn a whole lot in school. And to me, that didn’t make sense at all. They said, “Well, you’re learning when you get out of school when you’re actually in the field.” And to me, I didn’t understand it because, in my opinion, if you invest in your education, in your career, you should be learning something, somehow. So, to me, that meant either you didn’t put in the effort, or the school didn’t put in the effort.

What are you passionate about?

I’m most passionate about just having a good career and being the best that I can be. I like to inspire other people through what I do because I’m proud about what I do, what I can do, and what I accomplish. So that’s what I’m most passionate about.

What do you like to do most?

I like making people feel good. I like them to look in the mirror and be like, “Wow, I can look like that.” So, I like making people feel good. I like seeing a complete total change in people–before and after. Those are always my favorite. There isn’t one particular thing that I enjoy doing because I just like the full process of doing it all from beginning to end. I enjoy that.

How do you impact your clients?

I try to feel like I have a significant impact on everyone just because I value everyone. I want them to come back to me. And I feel like, obviously, that will keep sustaining my career. So, I try to impact everyone in some way, whatever that person may need for that day. I try to do that, whether it be through conversation or just through a positive outlook on the day or just a positive how they look and feel for the day.
